Just a thought
Today as I was commuting to work, I had a funny thought. Maybe only funny to me. But I saw a truck that looked like my ex-ex-boyfriend’s and thought, “I wonder if that’s him. I wonder if he saw me?” (It wasn’t.) But that thought lead to this one, “Would he recognize me?”
You see, a few months ago I dyed my hair a luscious dark brown, after being a natural...

Why is poetry important?
It reminds us of how words can be used to remind us of all the beauty in people around us.
i carry your heart with me (i carry it in my heart) i am never without it (anywhere i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling) i fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true) and it’s you are whatever a...

I’m on my seventh art project in the color/composition class I’m taking. We have to design a book based on a narrative about a chair. Seemed hard, but I’ve come up with a pretty good idea, I think. My whole idea will deal with collage.
I’ve put some examples of odd, different, interesting book designs to show the research I’m doing in decided how to design mine.

Coffeeeeeeeee
My roommate, who is always quoting research studies, told me that a study was done on centenarians and coffee. The study found that every person in the group drank at least one cup of coffee a day, and one person only drank coffee, never water or anything else. YAY for caffeine addicts! We are vindicated. I hope the study is true.
The new Facebook
I’m tired of hearing about Facebook, being on Facebook, Facebook changes, etc. Get a clue! The first edition was the best.
I remember the good ol’ days when I was a senior in high school waiting for the acceptance letter from a university — not because I was dying to know I got in. I wanted to snag that university email address that would allow me to finally join the new thing...
